【プロフィール】
明治初期、東京築地に国内初の靴工場が出来て約150年、今では100社近い靴メーカーが東京浅草に存在します。その靴の産地である浅草にて婦人靴55年（1965年創業）という職人集団が、DOUBLETREEのコンセプト “BEAUTY&COMFORT”を共有し生産にあたります。日本の伝統的な靴の産地ですが、早くから世界的に靴の産地であるイタリアの靴メーカーとも取引し、革新的な技術も合わせ持つ職人集団です。

【Profile】The first Japanese shoe factory was created in the late 1870s in Tokyo.
After 150 years of history, there are about 100 shoe manufacturers existing in Asakusa, Tokyo.  We started our shoe making in Asakusa, the mecca of shoe manufacturing in 1965, and since then our group of craftsmen have been manufacturing Lady’s shoes.  We are also one of the innovative skilled groups working with Italian shoe manufacturers from early days.

【履き易い木型（靴型の原型)】
DOUBLETREEのパンプスは一般的なパンプスと比べると、少し横幅があるつくりになっており、足先も足の形に合わせるように丸みを帯びた形状になっております。これが包みこまれるような履き心地を生み出し、Vカットデザインにより、横幅があるようには感じさせない洗練されたイメージに仕上っております。この丸みを帯びる形状は天然素材を使用しているので個体差が生じ、尚且つ縫い目がない一枚皮で一足ずつ製作しているので機械では難しく職人の手作業のみで完成致します。

【Wooden Mold (Original Shoe Shape) for Comfort】DOUBLETREE pumps are designed with a little more width, compared to regular pumps available in the market.  The front shape is slightly rounder to gently cover the toe, this specific detail ergonomic design providing comfort, wrapping your foot gently, complimented by the V-cut design, providing characteristic both ergonomic and sophistication.

 【ソール部分のこだわり】
低反発のウレタンインソールと返りのいい高反発の中底、滑りにくい合成クレープの本底（アウトソール）を組み合わせたハイブリットな構造により、歩き易く、疲れにくいシューズに仕上がっております。

【Sole Design for Comfort】DOUBLETREE with hybrid structure sole; a combination of Low rebounding Urethane inner-sole and high rebounding mid-sole, with natural rubber based composite out-sole. This design provides comfort — soles that are easy to walk with.

【かかと部分のこだわり】
かかと部分に牛革の月型（かかと部分の裏芯） を入れてます。牛革の月型を使うことで、履いたときにかかと部分が個々の足の形に馴染じみ、 より履き易い靴になると考えてます。 合成素材の月型を使う婦人靴も多く、靴の完成時点ではその方がきれいに見えるのですが、「形が崩れない＝足に馴染みづらい」 ので、履き易さでは、牛革が勝ると考え、DOUBLETREEの靴においては牛革の月型を使っています。 劣化しづらいのも牛革のいいところです。

【Heel Design for Comfort】DOUBLETREE uses cowhide for the moon-shaped core heel. As you wear DOUBLETREE footwear, the cowhide gradually molds to your heel shape which creates more comfort.  There are many footwear out in the market using composite material for the moon shape in order to hold the original design shape to look good, but making it less comfortable.  With the durability that cowhide provides making your DOUBLE TREE lasts longer for you to enjoy, while achieving both comfort and sophisticated design.

 【完全手作業で行う吊り込みのこだわり】
「吊り込み」という木型に合せて靴の形を作っていく工程に手作業ならではの良さが凝縮されてます。この工程をすべて手作業でやるのはまさに熟練した職人のワザ。底側のつま先側から木型に合せて、少しずつ革を引っ張ったり、叩いたりして、中底にアッパーをきれいに付けていき、靴の形を作っていきます。

【Lasting (Pull Over) Process with 100% handcrafts】Lasting is the important process of shoemaking, pulling leather over the wood mold and creating the shoe shape.  This process requires highly skilled craftsmanship with experience for 100% handmade products.  From toe bottom, craftsmen pull and tap leather over the wood mold little by little, combining the upper body to bottom parts creating the shoe shape.

天然素材ですので個体差があり、同じモノは存在いたしません。私たちはこの個性を唯一無二の一足として製作いたします。そして使い込むほどその靴のアジが出ていきお客様にとってさらに唯一無二の一足となります。また、ケアをしていただければ長くご使用でき、吸湿度性、放湿度があるため人工素材より蒸れにくいのも特徴です。オリジナルにこだわるからこそレザー素材のみを使用いたします。

【Leather Material for Comfort】We believe natural leather is the best material for shoes.  Leather is a natural material, individually different, unlike mass produced synthetic materials.  Our craftsmen understand the characteristics of natural leather and make it into quality shoes. The more you wear your DOUBLE TREE shoes, the more comfortable your DOUBLE TREE fits your foot.  And it can be used for a longer time with proper care. The moisture absorbing and releasing characteristics of the natural leather gives you more comfort, which synthetic materials fail to provide.
